"Many of us go to great lengths to expose vulnerability or to disguise it. I'm interested in the opposing strength and fragility of the individual. There is something beautiful in the revelation of personal subtext, though I suppose deception is just as intriguing."
Caitlin Wheeler is a visual artist living in Brooklyn, NY. She received her BFA in Printmaking from University of Delaware in 2007. She has held studio internships at Women's Studio Workshop in Kingston, New York and Yee-Haw Print Industries in Knoxville, Tennessee. Her art work has been nationally exhibited, with groups such as the International Print Center of New York, Art House Co-Op, Bluebottle Art Gallery in Seattle, PULP Gallery in Omaha, and the Northern Olympia All Ages Project.
